FAQ – Initial Set
What is Syno One?
Syno One is a medical device that applies somatosensory stimulation to key motor points of the muscles, helping patients with central nervous system injuries recover mobility more effectively. It is designed for patients with conditions such as stroke or cerebral palsy.
How is Syno One used?
The device is placed over the motor points of the target muscles and secured with straps. Once positioned, Syno One connects to the Syno Connect mobile app for calibration. After calibration, the treatment can begin. Stimulation is typically applied while seated or lying down in rest periods between exercises. The app notifies you when the treatment is complete, and rehabilitation exercises can continue.
Is it painful?
No. The calibration step ensures treatment is never painful. The compression should feel firm and intense, but never painful.
Is it invasive?
No. Syno One is a non-invasive therapy. The device applies compressions only on the skin or over clothing. It should never be placed in natural body openings or areas other than muscle or tendon.
